While we do everything we can to ensure zero operating incidents, we also take very seriously the need to be prepared in case something does happen.

ExxonMobil prepares detailed Emergency Preparedness and Response (EP&R) Plans for all our operations. Our EP&R program includes personnel training, stockpiling and maintaining response equipment, and researching and developing new response technologies and methodologies. Being adequately prepared to respond can significantly minimise the potential impact of spills or other incidents.

Emergency services play an integral role in our incident preparedness and at our facilities we hold regular exercises to ensure that we can effectively work together as a team in response to any incident.

Our local operations are fully integrated into ExxonMobil's EP&R network in the broader Asia Pacific region. As part of these arrangements emergency response experts from across the region conduct regular exercises and ensure a wide range of resources are available to respond to any incident.
