----------------------------------------------------
Adam joined ExxonMobil’s geoscience graduate program in early 2007 after graduating from the Australia School of Petroleum with an Honours degree in Petroleum Geology. Adam is currently working as an exploration geologist in the North West Shelf exploration group, where he is mapping and assessing prospects in ExxonMobil’s deepwater exploration permits. “One of the things that attracted me to ExxonMobil was the opportunity to be involved with world class projects both in Australia and overseas. My first project involved mapping a prospect and putting forward an exploration well proposal. As daunting as this responsibility seemed at the time, the early career training and mentoring program allowed every opportunity to succeed.” Since joining ExxonMobil, Adam has participated in training in Kuala Lumpur and field trips to Southern California, West Texas, New Mexico and Utah. “The training provided through the New Hire Development Program is an excellent opportunity to build on the knowledge gained at University and is reinforced through practical application back in the office.”
