Rebecca completed a double degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology and Biology at the RMIT in 2006. 

During the summer of 2005/2006, Rebecca completed vacation work at the Altona Refinery working on projects to improve water quality to the waste water treatment plant as well as water reduction and recycling projects.

In 2007, Rebecca commenced full-time work as a Process Engineer at the refinery, responsible for monitoring and optimisation of several areas of the processing plant including the site’s bitumen processing plant, sulphur treating unit and light gas separation processing units.

As an integral member of the business team Rebecca works closely with operations, maintenance and other engineering disciplines to optimize her units as well as providing technical support for projects and modifications.
