"One of the reasons I enjoy coming to work each day is the range of projects I get to work on. The variety ensures there are always fresh challenges and opportunities to learn new aspects of the business. In the same week I could fly offshore for a critical operation on a drill rig, make a presentation to senior management and write a paper to present at an industry conference."
“Working for a global organization means that there is an international network of engineers and experts to assist with local projects. It is great having the opportunity to work with, and learn from, the industry leaders who work for the company. The expertise available within the company and the commitment to invest in employees ensures that training courses are consistently world class and that the opportunity for international assignments is very real. In addition, the booming hydrocarbons sector means that these opportunities are available earlier in people's careers. I was delighted to take on the personal challenge and adventure of living and working in West Africa."
